THE VINE FELLOWSHIP
CRAWLEY

We are a small, friendly church based in Crawley, West Sussex, with an emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit, both in our own lives and in the life of the church.

About

About

Welcome to the Vine Fellowship - Crawley. We are a small, friendly local church that has existed since1977, as part of the Housechurch movement.  We don’t have our own church building but have met in a variety of locations over the years.

We emphasise the work of the Holy Spirit, both in our own lives and in the life of the church. We fellowship with each other in the love of Christ and meet together to worship God the Father through Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit. We teach each other by example and by encouragement from God's word which we find in the Bible.

We believe we can all receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and encourage everyone to actively participate in our meetings.

Features

Our meetings

Our main meeting is on a Sunday morning, starting at 10:30 and lasts for approximately an hour and a quarter, with refreshments afterwards. The meeting usually includes a talk for the children, worship and then a talk given by a member of the fellowship. On the first & third Sunday we also share communion. There is opportunity for people to participate. You are more than welcome to join us and we are currently meeting at the Grasshopper pub on Tilgate Parade. There is ample parking including two spaces for mobility badge holders.

We have weekly house groups meetings available for members which usually meet on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. These are an opportunity for socialising, worship, prayer and sharing God’s word.

There is a prayer meeting on Friday evenings, starting at 19:45, to which everyone is welcome. These are held on Zoom, with the option to meet in person on the 1st Friday of the month.
